When I was dating a girl from Preston many years ago we used to frequent a pub/club called the Leyland Tiger.

I’ve been to Leyland a few times and have heard many stories about the Leyland Tiger. Something of a legend there!
It had long since closed by the time I first visited, however.
There is the Leyland Lion however; a Weatherspoons pub. I prefer The Gables though. Just down the road and a very friendly pub.
The Leyland Tiger was demolished around 99/2000. There are houses on the site today. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since I had my last drink there
Top of my road whilst out shopping spotted the following vintage buses.
All part of this event for the British Legion.
They all looked in excellent condition. In fact the RM looked like it was fresh out of Aldenham Works.

Looking at 06 and 58 plate vehicles and thinking that is too new to be scrapped!
