Is it an electric toilet seat?

WTF, I’ve just had my install postponed again, apparently because no stock.

Solarsparky has 4 black and 1 white in stock

I’m sure Dom will sell you his.
I expect he just ā€œwants what he paid for itā€.

Selling as in a blind test he preferred the other cable as it had a sweeter midrange.

Untethered version so he can budget 10% of the cost to upgrade the cabling.

We are on the up and up here, we officially have the first Tesla owner/user on the close.

We have two S’s in the village, and one X. I had no idea the X had gull wing doors, at the back.

These new Shell chargers near me look promising

4 chargers, 175kW. If I get the new Ioniq next time it’s the full 0-80% in 18 minutes charging speed, which is enough time to go to the Starbucks next door, queue for a coffee, pour it away and wash out my mouth.

Good stuff. The third party infra is starting to accelerate and the Supercharger roll out is going berserk.

Shell’s not the cheapest, but generally it’s all about a quick splash and dash to get you to your destination for cheap home or free charging at hotels and such.

Used a supercharger last week. Cost us.
Called Tesla and some guff about link issue for the free miles from the @browellm recommendation.

We now have the miles and 6 months to use them. Just in time for the recent opening of the Tesla service centre nearby (8 superchargers?)

Result.

I enjoyed the Monaco full circuit Formula E race more than the F1 cars!
Roll on more famous / known circuits and less boring Street circuits on the Forumla E calendar (for me)!

Of course that is the ace card F1 currently holds, until it’s morphed into all electric by climate pressure and the old guard dieing off.

Interesting Moneybox R4 radio programme
on recently. Most cited climate change as the big driver, which I get, but equally big thing for me is the pollution levels in our towns and cities. That was not mentioned.

That’s the massive reason I am such an advocate of getting people to consider it NOW.

Whatever the anxiety about range or being early apdopters… just consider waking up to a street with zero car fumes. And a rush hour near you with nothing belching out.
Its such a game changer for health.

Yes, pollution and also noise. An EV at 20mph is very quiet, whereas a big 10 year old diesel bus is fucking noisy. For me these factors are probably bigger than climate change.

I also look forward to having a car as a service, so one appears when you need it rather than having them litter up the streets, but that’s a way off.

I quite the look of the Jag I-pace. It seems to get good reviews but never features in any ā€œtop 10 electric carsā€ reviews.
Why?

The reviews tend to say that the Tesla Model S is better. And the Jag is big and heavy and fairly inefficient, so you don’t get great range from a 90kWh battery, which then takes a longer time to charge.

But I imagine it handles better than most.

Perception of Jaguar as paying a badge premium for poor reliability and build quality?

But the Jag has track pedigreešŸ˜€

By all accounts, the Jag is a nice ride, but like it’s old V12 counterpart rather thirsty

It’s main competitors are the Model S and the E-tron. The Model S has the Superchargers blag blah, and it’s faster.

The etron is a charging monster. It’s a thirsty fucker but is really fast to charge on a DC rapidcharger.
