One of the guys at work has one. Drove it while I was in over in Ireland, first electric car I’d driven any distance. Was really surprised by how good it was.
Seriously considering one of a company car.
If they took that platform and made an Octavia/Superb version the sensible accountant in me would be all over that.

Although the bit about automotive driving battery use is sort of applicable. Mind you, the focus is actually going to be solid state for crash safety reasons.

Had a quote to extend the ironic lease another year, slightly higher month cost but still low enough that I’ll probably go ahead.
What’s the insurance like on the ironic Edd, compared to a similar ice car?
The same, I think we pay £350 a year ish.

Is there a best time to look for lease deals, end of financial year? New reg time? Or do I just need to keep scanning for deals in the hope one might pop up?
Not sure on when, Hotukdeals is pretty good. I’d imagine at the moment with 6 month plus waits offers will be quite thin on the ground.
