When I was young and fun, i used to buy cars with big engines and manual gearboxes and then set about bolting on various things including induction kits, big audio systems, new wheels an’ other such tat.
Proceeding through my 40s and with 50 approaching faster than I expected, (albeit a few yrs away thankfully) both cars I own are now automatics that I drive with economy in mind.
However, the good news is that my most recent car purchase (the DT) is about to be modified with a…
Central armrest.
And to make matters worse, I’m almost excited to install it on Saturday morning.
How depressing
No idea what to make of the vehicle (lots of toys and interesting styling for sure, no idea on quality aspects), but those release numbers are batshit.
Urgh, link not unfolding these days. It’s the Xiaomi YU7, and they sold 300,000 pre-orders totalling ~$850m.
Test drove the SWB ID Buzz today, really liked it for the obviously huge space. Would go for the 6-seat option rather than the 5-seat we drove.
Really liked the two-tone Green exterior and interior, Infotainment and HVAC controls are a bit clunky compared to our i4, but just seems such a good use of space and flexible considering its the ~same size our i4. I do still like the idea of the i5 Touring but the flexibility and space on the Buzz is pretty compelling!
Just putting the car seat in for the test drive was a breeze and massive boot even with the raised floor installed.
