The Milk Float Thread

I’m the same, really like the outside of the Ren5 or Alpine A290 but the interior is gopping on both :frowning:

The Mini is 11 yrs old and only has 40k miles so it’s also going to stay until it dies.

My honda is on 31k, I’m seriously considering getting it professionally under-sealed to prevent rot. If i do that probably it’ll last another 10 to 15yrs.

To add, Renault build quality is poor. Ours is not ageing well. I will not buy another.

is that a 13A inverter or just an adaptor and the inverter is built into the car?

Just an adapter, inverter built into the car.

bugger would have been perfect for my dad and his 50KW old mans Mokka where he only does 50 miles per week.

The more I drive mine, the more I like it Andy. I’m still learning about it, I’ve just discovered that it has a heat pump :slightly_smiling_face:
Ps Im not crazy about the wheels either

Ours has as well - seat cooling

Is it the Style version Andy?

Paperwork doesn’t say - I think it’s a design version

That’s what I meant  panoramic roof too :+1:

We’re off to France in August, taking the Buzz for the first time. Considering doing a single monthly subscription to Ionity for the month, as there seem to be quite a few along the Autoroutes we will be using, and pretty much half the £/kWh price (47p/kWh rather than 83p/kWh) seems worth it even with the £10.50 fee as there is likely to be at least 8x charges over the whole trip.

Anybody done something similar, any issues?

I had a free 12 month sub when I got the BMW. They don’t have the footprint in the UK which is the only issue really.

Wouldn’t sleep on the Tesla sub either. Not sure what the open-to-all footprint is like in France but it’s very good here.

Yeah we had the 1-year Ionity with our i4, only used it once in that year. I’ll look into the Tesla ones too.

We drove to Spain via Eurotunnel last September. The charging infrastructure is fantastic and cheap as chips. Less the 50p per kWh pretty much everywhere we stopped. Didn’t have to wait once. Larger service stations thirty plus chargers. It’s also 300kw+ chargers most of the time. They even had chargers in the little rest stops at the side of the motorway. I wouldn’t bother tying yourself to one vendor. Every single one we used took my Mercedes me card without issue.

Edit, forgot they added vat onto the price but still a lot cheaper than here!

Compare that to rip off Britain…

Well France is good, I can supercharge for 31 cents per kWh. Nice.
