The Pasteis De Bellend

Was hoping to get de nata’d up the wazoo from the ones off King’s Cross market but it’s not on on a Monday :cry:

Unseemly.

In the absence of anything else, they suffice and are decent value.

Adequate.

If it’s right, it’s right, if not it’s shit. Since when have we been all mature and settled for compromise?

Right outside the station, Ritchie. There is all manner of artisanal flimflam and most importantly a stall selling a metric ton of Portuguese egg-magic.

Riiiiiight… Just got to work out a way to be there at the right time then!

They also do the fruit versions as loathed by @htm_1968.

Raspberry is very wrong as the fruit is far too acidic and doesn’t complement the soft vanilla mouth feel.

Blueberry is a better match as the subtle flavour doesn’t overpower. An acceptable alternative for those in search of some mild de nata deviancy.

Weds and Thurs for sure.

Absolute disgrace that anybody would put fruit in a PDM and then ask for money for it.

Feck. Off. With. That. Shite.

Brave explorers probing the outer limits have always hung themselves out there to the possibility ridicule.

What?

I’m being bullied by the de Nata Orthodoxy. This is religious hate crime.

Get you Blossom with your delicate feelings and artistic temperament

Expect a visit from Cardinal Torquemada of the Pastry Deviancy Squad you squalid apostate PDN abuser.

Sirs, may we be clear, fruit has no right to be on or near a PDN. Confused individuals would profit from observing the traditional French Fruit Tart. Custard and fruit have intermingled over the centuries but here Sirs, we deal in authenticity!
