Good to see that the Mail (renowned for its rigor and accuracy) also went with it.

He’s a bit too close to reality isn’t he :rofl:
I’m sure plenty of real Tory MPs will be annoyed he beat them to it

Tory politics is now indistinguishable from parody so it’s an easy thing to do.

If they were still running Spitting Image I expect the tories would be pinching policy ideas off the show.

They’ve been using Black Mirror and 1984 for some time.

Ours ceased to be used several years ago. It serves as a convenient ornamental stand for the single burner Buffalo induction hob on which I do 90% of all cooking.

AGAs are shit.

There were a couple of people killed up the road from us on Sunday.

Now that the dust has settled it appears that one young man was a victim of an ongoing feud amongst drill artists, and the other was simply a Deliveroo guy, wrong place wrong time, caught up in an associated car chase.

I don’t understand the motivations at all, and the fact that two young men have died has left me feeling pretty glum.

The whole Drill / Rapper wars is getting well out of hand again.

Takeoff was shot dead, too, today :disappointed:

Insane.

I recall back in the early noughties contemplating a relatively friendless life. We’d moved out of particular areas; Sussex then Dorset, twice before moving to Devon leaving behind our social circles. Gill could still meet other mums at the FoL’s school but there were few similar prospects for me.

Reading this article was a useful reminder of why forums such as this are such a valuable resource particularly for the opportunities it gives to gather together, cook meat, drink too much and argue about music, coffee and festive pastries.
