Had a shower this morning. The impact of the operation is very visible. I have a scar running vertically from my navel to my solar plexus. I have a second scar running horizontally from my navel to my hip. All this is held together with staples and heralds the end of the silver lame posing pouch for poolside use.

I also look like Iā€™ve been attacked by a swarm of vampires. Here is the better side of my right arm:
