That my friend is between me and the euphonium player, certainly made him dribble
As long as you didn’t fiddle with his 4th valve…
Quality work Dave
.
Is it functional, in that it keeps critters from getting into/out of places, or is it just a lovely thing ?

bollocks, filling just dropped out…
I think that there is a plan to graze small cattle in the woodland behind the wall, to keep down ground vegetation, so it will be functional. The road there (originally a turnpike) is narrow but fairly straight and traffic does go fast along it.
One of mine went last week First date I could get for a replacement is Oct 16th, and there’s a £40 additional fee for staff PPE and cleansing.
Nice.
Making a small woodland type clearing beneath the hedge so that a hedgehog shelter can be placed in situ. I’ve saved all the twigs and branches to cover the box, just to make it look a bit more natural and resident creepy crawlies will provide the hog with a tasty takeaway snack. All I need now is a hedgehog.
I’ve got one too - still waiting for a hog.
it’s a shame, the demise of the hedgehog is quite staggering, approx. only one million left, down from 30 million a few decades ago. Anything to help the hog population has to be worthwhile, it’s saddening.
We are lucky. We have quite a few, and have had them for a number of years.

These must be responsible…
Do you remember Tiger Nuts, harvesting them could pose a problem.
The charity I help out has loads of hogs being looked after. I’ve got my name down for a few.
we are in the pub, and i have discovered Paul (67) has a worse taste in shoes than me. Mary (49) his Mrs is taking the piss out of him.
They are reasonable company but they are serious swingers
and a bit weird. She is a recovering alcoholic who thinks it is OK to drink 12 pint of shandy…and he has weird shoes…
I see them fairly often when I walk the doggos at night, but they never seem to make their way into our gardens, despite suitable gaps. They do need surprising amounts of space to find enough food in dry weather. Met one last night here in Norfolk, too - out after all the rain. Ditto some surprisingly large common toads. Marvellous creatures, 'edgepigs - well done erryone looking out for them.

Mate, it’s a mirror.
