Today I have mainly been V5.0 (Part 3)

Yeh, OK !

I was thinking of Andy Priest, but point taken.

I’m sure it’ll turn onto a Ballroom Blitz.

I’m wrong it’s Andy Scott!

That’s the badger :+1:

Been compiling Christmas compilation CD/ card; gleanings from my hard drive. Not sure how long it will be worth it. If I hand one to a Young Person it has the same effect as if I gave them a piano roll.

Unfortunately he’s very ill but recovering. Missed the Australian tour which was billed as the farewell tour.

He’s getting better and aiming for a second farewell tour.

The lead guitarist tonight was brilliant.

So no original members tonight.

I first saw them in 1973.

Yep a very elderly Blitz for the finale. And not a teenager in sight for the rampage.

Brilliant night but struggled to stand up for 3 hours on these old legs and then our friends Land Rovers drivers window was smashed when we got back. Nothing in to pinch.

Sounds like a fun night Mick :+1:.

So they had to make do with all your apostrophes  ?

Well caught but in my defence it was midnight and drink had been taken.

Worse still it was a Ranger Rover!

Other places have a tractor run or Santa on the back of a trailer.

Chalgrove: Santa in a line of decorated horses.

An hour an a half learning French. It is day 345. It may not be perfect, but it’s a lot fucking better than it was 345 days ago…

I once raided for two nights with mud at the park lane hotel, then some place in Wales that wouldn’t have looked out of place in the blues brothers. All that was missing was chicken wire to keep the bottles at bay.

The lead singer was a woman, and Rob Davis with massive flares and just as big earrings.

More annoying was the friends I helped hadn’t long finished working on pils metal box,and I got mud

Where was the usual singer (Les Gray?) Had they split into various different Mud puddles by then?

No idea, just had a look and it has him down as leaving in 79

No idea why they chose a woman to sing

Chavgrove :+1:

To the island xmas party.

[miserable twat mode on]

Can’t say it was the most exciting evening. The fact that I’m home before 10:15 is evidence of that.

Buffet sounded ok but was meh

(mince pies didn’t materialise)

Saving grace was that I won a 1.5 litre bottle of spiced rum and a 2 litre box of wine in the raffle.

Thankfully that’s it for another 12 months.

[miserable twat mod off]

Nice to see that you enjoyyed* yourself.

*in a net gain sort of way

Love that you get vegan potato salad, but apparently not vegan green/tomato salad.

You can add to that - there were no vegans in the room (as far as I know, and you would know wouldn’t you, there are only two of them on the island and one is working away and the other stated she was not coming)
