Today I have mainly been V5.0 (Part 3)

Have you got a horsebox ?

You’ll have to fit it out as a ‘listening trailer’. I’m sure the girls, and the horse, won’t mind

When we were last in Bishop’s Castle there was a great cafe/record store/reading room.
I bought several classical box sets for very little money :+1:

There is no where practical. There isn’t anywhere practical in a Landy either.

Where are you going to put a few hundred records anyway?
The whole idea is daft, if ever there was an argument for streaming, then this is it!

Yesterday Donna wifey and I had an afternoon and evening out in Nottingham.
Popped into Baresca for a spot of tapas, it was superb :ok_hand:.

Then found a record/film/bookstore called Fopp.
Great place.
Had a cocktail in The Alchemist, fab :cocktail::crazy_face:.

Then James Martin.

Love him or loath him, he put on a great show, Donna was very happy :+1:.

I’ve spent most of the day tidying up my listening room and trying to get the LP’s into some remote semblance of order. Looks better than it did but still a bit chaotic. I did however discover that I have 31 Library Of The Occult LP’s :astonished:

Gave up on the CD’s :man_shrugging:

Time for a beer methinks :beers:

Enjoyed my extra night at Bishops Castle. Three Tuns Ale is fucking delicious; had a sensible couple last night.

The people were really friendly and laid back. Would recommend The Poppy House as they’re very good value and the breakfast is amazing!

Had to go back to base via my favourite bridge because reasons.

Looking forward to catching up with other friends tonight!

Went for a walk starting from Pistyll Rhaeadr today, apparently the tallest waterfall in England and Wales. Quite pretty.

The first hill we went up has a name that directly translates as “Dry mountain”…

Mainly engaging the weekend services of the NHS in dealing with a nasty infection that Mrs Waxy has picked up. Now sitting with her at home while she struggles to see through one half-swollen eye with the other completely closed.

Get well soon to Mrs Waxy, Gareth!
