Thanks for your kind and wise words everyone. She has been non-verbal without any recognition for about 18 months.

It’s a release for her and all of the family really. She has been merely ‘existing’ pretty much since a rapid deterioration during the months of isolation during the Covid lockdowns in her care home.

I remember comforting her when her dad died. :slightly_frowning_face:

I lost both my parents to Alzheimer’s. You have my every sympathy for your loss and for what your family and your Mum have been through over the last few years. A truly horrendous disease.

Waiting for my car’s Service and Intercooler Replacement to be completed; would have been impossible to get to and from work otherwise due to Industrial Action.*

Whilst waiting, had a catch up with a friend I’ve not seen for ages! Was a lovely few hours! :sunglasses:

Anyhoo, car goes much, much better now we don’t go into Derate! :sunglasses:
