Very sorry to hear this.
Sorry to hear that, hard relate at the moment.
My condolences - it’s always a shock when it happens, even when expected. Best wishes to all.
Many condolences.
Sorry to hear that. Look after herself.
Sorry for your loss.
So sorry to hear your news.
My condolences - even when you know it’s coming, it still hits hard.
Best wishes.
Thanks for your kind and wise words everyone. She has been non-verbal without any recognition for about 18 months.
It’s a release for her and all of the family really. She has been merely ‘existing’ pretty much since a rapid deterioration during the months of isolation during the Covid lockdowns in her care home.
I remember comforting her when her dad died.
Sad news, even at 91.
Sorry to hear that, condolences on your loss
Very sad to hear this. Look after each other.
Sincere condolences Gareth.
Sorry to hear that.
Never an easy time to lose a parent
Condolences. Time heals the deepest wounds.
I lost both my parents to Alzheimer’s. You have my every sympathy for your loss and for what your family and your Mum have been through over the last few years. A truly horrendous disease.
So sorry for your loss - my Mum died last year from Alzheimer’s and your post describes word-for-word her end of life, lockdown decline and passing.
Condolences - losing a parent is tough.
Dementia is so cruel. I’m sorry for your loss.
Waiting for my car’s Service and Intercooler Replacement to be completed; would have been impossible to get to and from work otherwise due to Industrial Action.*
Whilst waiting, had a catch up with a friend I’ve not seen for ages! Was a lovely few hours!
Anyhoo, car goes much, much better now we don’t go into Derate!
*Not bitching about this, btw!
