Today I have mainly been V5.0

London? Paris? I suggested to Mrs C. Again, I forgot what a cheap date she willingly is, a day at the seaside she suggested. Rock, donuts, fudge, arcades, piers and watching people enjoy a simple day out. All followed by the best Fish and Chips c/o the famous Cottage resto, fantastic.

Observing jamonman. It was obvious the love this fine fellow has for the be-snouted swine. These slices of black acorn fed porker melted in the mouth at curiously the same speed money dissolved from my wallet… I want to kidnap Jamonman

On a bit of an emergency bus trip to East Dulwich and back, surveying the usual Sunday morning carnage.

The most impressive one was a Toyota with a completely panned in front. You could see where he’d hit the wall, but how he’d managed to do this perpendicular to the road and evidently at quite some speed is beyond me.

Three pointer gone horribly wrong?

Nowt to do with me. Norweb will have asked for that isolator to be installed before installing the new meter. That mains room is actually quite tidy compared to some I’ve been in

Cleaning the old Xsara Picasso prior to advertising for sale. New-to-me Vauxhall Combo Life XL () arriving at the weekend.

I rejected this one, too much vibe of the geriatric drug dealer peddling Voltarol & Viagra.

Oof, stick to the Sanatogen pushers. It improves with age (which means don’t ever open it)

Up earlyish, nice long walk with Nellie over Purdown. Lots of kestrel action and a busy flock (30-40?) of goldfinch spotted. Finished decorating the spare room, cleaned some windows and hacked back next door’s rampaging cotoneaster. Watched a couple of episodes of Money Heist (Season 4) too.

Best bit is no work until next Monday. Smug.

Day out in Nantes,
Lovely lunch aboard a river barge the idled 3 hours away on an electric boat up the river and a visit to the Japanese gardens where an outfit were jamming some jazz, a lovely chilled day out

I should be in Nantes this week at a conference, but work got in the way

Shame as it’s a great city to stroll , we always find something different every year, strangely it can be a bit whoa when dusk falls

Electric boats are a fantastic thing. Such a serene way to get about.
