Today I have mainly been

planning patios with folks , also looking at running spikes along tops of fences as burglars tried to get in over a fairly tall fence . getting alarms upgraded this week

nagging a young man about cutting his lawn and complaining to letting agents about them allowing folks with yappy dogs that bark all day to ruin the lives of others

writing replies to idiots party wall notice next door who as i may have mentioned have demolished their house almost .

I ate a reuben, then garlic mushrooms on toast and am about to eat millionaire shortbread.

I did have a nap at 12ish. Oh, and, I had to wait 5 hours for some idiot on ebay to give me details for me to book the delivery for something I bought on ebay.

Cat piss is very bad for plants. I suggest culling all local cats as a precaution.

Shitting through the eye of a needle, pretty much most of yesterday and all of today. Second dose of it in a week. It’s so thin I think I’ve created a new organic solvent.

Thank you - the scan went well. She chose to go to the research centre at St Mary’s as they offer minimally invasive and non invasive surgery for her condition. The local hospital only offers an open hysterectomy which she doesn’t want.

Last time I was at Greenwich Observatory I was a child and Canary Wharf etc didn’t exist.

I’d move if I were you Phil

Security wise get some carpet grips and nail them down the sides of the posts. Works a treat.

How is the next-door saga going?

Booked flight for trip to Japan for Christmas and New Year.

Long time away I know but can’t wait to return.

Spending a nice afternoon on the beach at the mouth of the river Erme.

Managed a swim but I’m guessing the water was still in single figures.

Leave 'em for a month, see if any shoots appear. If nowt, bin 'em off. Montana’s a tough little bugger - and lovely IMHO - so you’ve been unlucky.

A wise man, whose company I think I could have enjoyed :+1:

Poo-picking, mowing and weeding from the dogs’ part of the garden, dog walk, then pub for Cinco do Mayo dinner and mucho cervezas :+1:

Building a magic eye tester

Lovely things - from a time when it was cheaper to make a valve than it was to build a moving-coil voltmeter.
