Staying very close to the dunny, it seems a repeat of last year’s fun is on the way
Cycling round East London with my kids, whacking car passenger windows with my fist
Digesting a stack of information relating to the dire financial challenge faced by a set of CCGs in the East Midlands, with a view to whether I think it can be turned round…
Fuck. Good luck with that Andy.
Checking stuff is water tight, again.
Did you meet Charlie yesterday?
Do you two have similar problems?
Trying to find out whether JJ EL509S’s are any good - specifically whether if I buy ‘ordinary’ ones (i.e. not very highly selected ones costing much more) they’ll be reasonably stable and not draw significant grid current when they get warm.
VB
Thanks Mate, hopefully nothing.
If it’s Corby then best of luck
Deciding to wear a brace for over a year…
Just like when I was a teenager, but way more expensive!
Killing flies
Ask Tim de P? He uses them is several amps
Ha, speak to @Wayward for support.
A year will be ok, be over before you know it. Upper or lower? Metal?
A fellow masochist?
I have an expansion device for three months that looks like a box of springs and will apparently make me talk like a snake oil foo merchant…
Followed by a year of a ceramic upper brace.
Not really a willing masochist…
What does the expansion device expand?
Upper arch expanded.
Teeth behind the canines are angled inwards.
When does it start?
It will be uncomfortable periodically and the soft diet will be testing. Don’t eat anything chewy thinking you will get away with it, a broken brace is a pain! As soon as it irritates use the wax they give you. My own experience is quite extreme but honestly it didn’t drive me mad until the lower one went on at about the time yours will be coming off! You will be fine
battling with a new procurement process for building works, which means that what used to require me to fill one form, a budget code and an email - now asks me for three separate forms, multiple emails, and endless trouble… why… well this apparently ‘saves the university money’… or in reality moves all the work (and the costs) from the estates team whose job it was to procure building works, to academic departments.
