A mate of mine has lost 4 stone in about 3 to 4 months on this.
what are they?
Even more of a miserable cunt
Not sure you can count pre-existing conditions.
The wife has weaned herself back down to 2.5 and will be off it in the next month or so. The plan is to have a spare pen and an upper weight limit, once she crosses that she’ll go back on and lose it. I’m planning to do the same.
She has quite an active job so she’s hoping she won’t have to use it much. I’m trying to get some exercise habit going so I won’t just pile it back on.
Is anyone changing their diet or just eating less of the same?
The diet kind of has to change as you can no longer eat all the shite.
I’d regularly inhale junk after dinner, pick at slabs of cheese crisps and biccys at the weekend. Even plain tortillas if there was nothing else in the cupboard. Trips to the shop to sate cravings with M&Ms revels and the like were 3–4 times a week.
On this stuff you are very aware of your ‘food budget’ you only have enough room for a certain amount so if you fill up on Cadbury’s or whatever you truly do feel like crap so you don’t (or at least that’s how it works for me).
To be fair my previous diet wasn’t terrible, takeaways once or twice a month, rarely did sauces come from a jar etc. it was quantity due to never actually feeling full and then packing in the snacks an hour later that was always my issue. Hell I hardly ever drink anything other than a cup of coffee and then water.
I’m guessing that’s the key, getting into a new habbit and liking it, for any long term change?
Well I’ve lost 6lbs in a week by, err, changing absolutely nothing.
Fuck my mutinous body.
An old wise friend told me more years ago than I care to remember, that 'There is no such thing as good and bad habits, there are only old habits and new habits"
I have applied this to more things than I can think.
What ever makes the penny drop is helpful
Maybe a check up
Haven’t been using the jab, but have been on a concerted health kick, particularly since NY. I’m down about 7kg so far, and also much fitter than I was 6 months ago. Crucially, the whole thing feels much more positive throughout than any prior attempts to lose weight. I put that firmly down to having met Sarah, and having a focus on making the most of the mountains.
I’ve had fairly recent tests for things that might cause sudden weight loss (let’s be blunt: cancer) but this is just my digestive system being an arse and what was probably an infection last weekend.
Nice choice of words there.
I’ve lost 2.5 Kg this month and I’m actively trying to keep my weight up. Much more unexplained losses and I can expect to be threatened with the dietician.
Indeed. The injection just helps the habit forming, I hope.
Meh big pharma will chuck a few millions at the right politicians and it’ll go away.
