hmm turned into a load of preachy shite now.
Hel put that on last night. Average so far (to ep2).
Donât bother, rapidly turns to very preachy bullshit from ep2
given the cast hoping this will be good
56 from 38 critical reviews and 6.5 from the public, at metacritic.
Hmmmm. Suggests bang average if that.
Havenât paid attention to ratings on IMDB, rottentoms or any of those sites for years.
The thing about metacritic is that it averages all the review sites, so it evens out anomalies.
Quite a good barometer, and I find reliable when I donât want to take a chance and waste two hours.

Currently watching Blacklist. Enjoyable tripe. I like it
I find the IMDb overall ratings to be quite good.
8+ Exceptional
7-8 Very good
6-7 Decent
<6 Disappointing
Iâve found it pretty consistent, really.
One for the diary if youâve not seen it before.
Bbc 4 this Friday The ecstasy of Wilco Johnson. Documentary from 2015
Hence pretty consistent. Of course there are exceptions. Ad Astra should be like -100000000000000000
Iâve never found anything that is <6 to be any good, so it works as a filter.
Watched this the other night and really enjoyed it.
vaguely remember this as being ok
The US take on Top Gear. What a refreshing change (US bias considered?) from the horrible stuff we are subjected to from the UK producers. Genuine automotive enthusiasts ragging cars for shits & giggles, rather than media twats ragging cars for social media likes!
Yes, I know itâs telly, but stillâŚmakes me think of how TG sould have evolved from the days of William Woolard et al.
Gary Numan âResurrectionâ on Sky Arts.
Never been the biggest fan of his music, other than his hits, but a really interesting and enjoyable watch.
He comes across as a throughly decent guy and is very open about his life.
Oh, and it also confirms that Dave Grohl is absolutely the nicest bloke in rock.
