The second season of Foundation has been ace. It’s pretty much abandoned an Asimov plot (and much as I love Asimov, it does rather emphasise that the books are unfilmable) to basically have a riot in the Asimov universe and it’s really come alive in the last few episodes. The one that released on Friday is some of the best TV I’ve watched in ages.
Most entertaining movie I’ve watched this year
Yes Matt loving it too
This amazing documentary about the Scottish Rolls Royce Aero Engines workers is available to stream for free for the next few days on Vimeo using the code NUNCAMAS at checkout.
Brilliant story, very well told.
Although he wasn’t directly involved himself I remember my Dad telling me about it before he had to retire from Rolls Royce through ill health.
Season 3 finale
Not sure how I’d have liked it to end. Some exceptional acting, particularly form Kano.
Just finished watching season 2 of Channel 4’s Screw. Very good.
Rick Astley covering the Foo’s Everlong on the iPlayer
James Martin Spanish Adventure.
Just too cool.
Justified - City Primeval
Any good?
I thought it was pretty dull, watched it a few weeks ago and have forgotten what happened in it already.
I’m enjoying it. It’s definitely slower paced than the original series though.
