On a big WW2 / D Day tip at the moment, so Saving Private Ryan last night, and tonight I’ve started Band of Brothers.
I’ve never actually seen the latter so buying the entire series was a bit of a gamble, but at some point you have to trust the reviews.
You won’t be disappointed Guy it’s very good - although spotting all the Brit actors in it gets a bit distracting 
Band of Brothers is top notch, you won’t be disappointed.

The same with re-watching Private Ryan. Paul Giamatti? Vin flipping Diesel? 
There are a few Brits in it but not quite as bad as I made out

watched that on sky docu last night and it was horrendous. The guy is such an odious little self centered cunt.
I’m glad it really concentrated on the Sandy Hook families and victims rather than just Jones, it really brought home the mental damage that odious cunt and his mentally deranged followers caused.
It’s a difficult watch.

It’s difficult not to be impressed by the drill coordination and the music, especially amusing hearing some of the names of the ruperts on parade
