Nicely done chaps.
Rather drawn in by the first episode. Looking forward to the rest.
Orbital x Tilda Swinton at Glastonbury.
‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ last night…
Hahahaha! Oh dear me, no. No.
That bad ?
We were going to watch it last night but Mrs P had never seen the original so we ended up watching that.
Even the theme music is conspicuously slowed down to retirement home pace - which is where the franchise should have been allowed to spend its final years…
WTF were Netflix thinking?
It’s still probably only the ~20th worst movie I’ve seen.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’
100% sold - Pre nap perfection.

Standard rant: LOTR’s soundtrack wins an Oscar for the utter derivative dreck and this, with truly magnificent music from Bernstein, doesn’t.
‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’
Can confirm, as far as visual Valium goes, this is potent and therefore excellent.
As they said at the time,
this ain’t your night
Just watched The Swimmers (2022).
I enjoyed it. It’s based closely on a true story. I learned things. It made me go and read and learn other things.
Every single person who voted Reform in the recent election should be strapped in to a chair with their eyes clipped open Clockwork Orange-style and forced to watch it multiple times.
Quite enjoyed this last night @Wayward

Watching episode two now, looks good, so far.
Quite enjoyed this last night @Wayward
Don’t remind him!
The Bike Riders
In the late 60s and early 70s a photo journalist spent time documenting the characters and lifestyle of a motorcycle club as it gradually morphed into a hells angels gang. The film is about a fictional biker gang but based on the tales and photos of the journalist.
Tom Hardy is very good as the gang leader channeling his inner Brando while Jodie Comer is very convincing as one of the gang’s partners.
Although such groups started out as motorcycle clubs indulging in modding bikes and grass track racing, changes in society led them to become outsiders but with their own strict and somewhat arbitrary rules.
More about the people than a plot, it’s perhaps slightly too long but a good watch nonetheless.
Great film
I assumed , without really seeing or hearing much about it that it would be about Sonny Barger
Will try and get into see it.
