Nice one Gregg. I normally just load up an iffy stream so I hadn’t looked at other options until 10 minutes ago
Nicely directed story telling.
Have you watched Harder They Fall yet? It’s more than a little tongue in cheek hip hop western, but actually not bad. Borrows very heavily from Tarantino but very effectively.
In haven’t, will check it out.
Countryfile this evening is from Malvern. Any interest @J_B, @Ciderpig?
From the Radio Times review they’re going with the Malvern College / CS Lewis connection but skirting around the whole Aleister Crowley thing
Hmm
As Danny Baker once remarked, Woodstock to the Sex Pistols was 7 years.
A remarkable change in music in that time
Danny Baker’s contention could be seriously condensed. This was released the same year as Woodstock (EDIT: The Stooges LP was released 10 days before Woodstock took place)

I still stand by Help–> Revolver being a bigger shift (In terms of experimentation / development we are talking 65-66 by 67 the genie was well out of the bottle for everyone)
To be honest I have seen so many interviews with American songwriters and bands say something along the lines of ‘… and then the Beatles came along and the whole world changed’ so I think I will concede the point.
Can’t think of many bands that changed so quickly over such a short space of time.
Infact can only think of talk talk who changed drastically from pop to laughing stock.
Amazing to think Coldplay have been going 3 times longer than the beatles with the same song
Amazing to think there’s been no assassination attempts in that time
Enjoying the top gear season finale
Think they drive past my road uptowards Dartmoor prison on this episode.
Lamborghini Miura

I binge watched Band of Brothers on Sky Atlantic today and yesterday. Still on of the better scripted and shot WW2 series/films IMHO.
Is that still on?
Stopped watching it yonks ago.
I really like my big telly, and didn’t want it to become the interface between a brick and Paddy McGinty’s face
Django Unchained
First watched (and loved) this at @coco 's house, thought it was about time to watch it again.

They did Cadover Bridge, the China Clay works & the airfield at Davidstow before heading down to Perranporth/Newquay. Weather looked awful, must’ve been last Summer!
He is the more annoying one but they’ve settled in nicely overall
They were at yelverton petrol station area I guess around Aug/Sept.
Someone said they were filming from yelverton to the prison. Seems they weren’t.
