Binge-watched the second and third seasons of Mr Inbetween over the weekend, as the Mrs was away (too violent for her innocent soul). Wow that was good. Iām genuinely sad itās over. What a fantastic series. Seemingly heās said he wonāt make another season, which is a shame, but also I do think it concluded nicely. Will watch with interest to see what he does next. Thanks again to whoever highlighted it hereā¦ best thing Iāve seen in ages.

Much as I wanted to like it, it was so dull and slow.
Lovely to look at. Some excellent acting. Some surprises. Clever.
But my god it was hard work. Worthy, but it dragged. I wonāt be watching it again but I can admire it for what it was (mainly, too long).

We watched the first ep of Get Back last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Neither of us are Beatles die hard fans even though we enjoy their music, and both of us shared the same suspicions about Paul McCartney on the whole, but what came across so far is that he was the one prepared to be the adult in the room, and the driving force/ initiator both musically and to the project.
At the beginning John looked very subdued and happy to be a passenger but as the days passed you can see him getting more involved and then the magic starts as they begin to loosen up and play together. As said above you can then see individually talented musicians transcend this as a band.
Ep 2 tonight.
