Other than Snatch, I am yet to see a decent Statham film. Fair play though, he has done very well making shit films. Good luck to him.
Thatās basically his superpower.
I donāt dislike the transporter films. Theyāre honest to what they are and are all generally good fun. I also like ādeath raceā, itās terrible, but at least enjoyable.
Lastly, thereās āBank Jobā which is actually half decent.
How you can gloss over the Meg & The Beekeeper is beyond me ![]()
I remember your glee at this masterpiece.
I havenāt seen the Meg or the Meg2 but seeing the trailers is enough to know that they were criminally overlooked when the Oscars came around. Shouldāve swept the board. Allegedly David Attenboroughās favourite nature documentaries.
The Sandman season 2. Much enjoy.
The Meg and the Meg 2 are awesome.
Awwright you giant shark bastard. Aahm gonna bash you right up.
Question:
Being a huge fan of the original Westworld film, should a buy the ānewā series on DVD to watch, is it any good?
I enjoyed the 1 series, the 2nd was pretty good, and lost interest during the 3rd and havenāt watched the 4th
for whatever that is worth
but looking at the average viewer figures on wiki, I wasnt alone
This ^
Cheers chaps, worth a small flutter perhaps then ![]()

.
Ordered the first series on el cheapo bluray.
Miami Vice
Itās all on Prime and itās like being a kid again
Tron Ares. In 3D. ![]()
Itās a bloody fantastic, if relentless, spectacle and possibly as a result of that the storytelling isnāt subtle. Some nice touches like Ares Bateman-ing about Depeche Mode though.
Obvious set up for a sequel too.
Great soundtrack too, which is going to cost me a few quid when I decide which colour vinyl to buyā¦
Yeah, a wee bit rich for me, for a genre (OSTās) I seldom visit, so I went for the CD. Absolutely beltingš
Bought the black and red vinyl, the cd was bundled for £2 extra from the NIN official shop.
Just saw it in 3D in the IMAX in Plymouth this week. I hadnāt even realised it had been released, then all of a sudden noticed, and was determined to see it on the IMAX. There was one 3D IMAX showing left when I checked, and it happened to be on my birthday. Enjoyed it immensely!
A full-adrenaline sensory feast from start to finish.
Useless fact of the day.
Went to see tron at Leicester Square when it was released, and sat next to David Jason who was on his own.
More shit anecdotes will be in my forthcoming book.
Back in those days, presumably David Jason was still in shorts? Was there sound or a pianist accompanying?
