The IMDB metascore is ok, 64 is decent.
The problem with rebooting or making a sequel to a much loved film is that the fanboys will vote it down. Add to that a lot of trans stuff and strong women roles, and you have the perfect formula for downvoting.
Have to say the second season is a big step up from the first. Really quite enjoying it now.

I’ve been the same to be honest, the heavy handed ‘sending a message to the audience’ writing really put me off.
I’ve yet to watch Flux, but I’ll give it ago.
