Heres me slumming it with a wee dram of …jamesons
Jameson’s is great.
Tis a nice wee tipple, …i think ive over done it though , …
Is it empty…
If no, you haven’t.
nope its half empty …oh ill have another…
Jan’s going to Tesco’s tomorrow and asked me to check whisky and Gin. 6 lts Gin and 4 lts whisky. All cooking stuff so we should be ok.
It’s under the stairs so …
To my mind, if’n your general stock levels of more any-day whisky are quite good, it only makes it easier to justify a couple of nicer bottles to enjoy as a more occasional treat!
£50 master of malt voucher to play with. I was trying to decide between Port Charlotte 10 or Uigadeil, but @vacdac has just thrown a couple more into the mix!
Port Charlotte 10yr old is on my must try list. Some of the Arran releases also look enticing.
£25.
Except my bottle went through the till for £20, ymmv.
Have you tried this yet?
Ordered the Port Charlotte 10 and Clynelish 14
be interested in you thoughts on the Port Charlotte 10
Will let you know what we think of it Should have it for the weekend, salivating already!

Some brilliant burnt/caramelized fruit notes, definitely get your orange/apple notes. A quick short initial hit of sweetness that doesn’t linger or overpower. The smokeyness is lovely, lingering & not overly done.
Crikey, it is quite big, bold & heady with excellent long finish & spiciness/smoky notes throughout. I’d say it is all the money & more at its standard price of £50 & a clear bargain for the flash sale price.
Two bottles arrived today, bloody lovely.
Cheers for the heads up!
It is all that!! Gert lush, a real rare bargain. Anyone who got some did well, but there were only 650 bottles in this batch & no more available fer t’ time being.
I’ve just ordered another couple of bottles of Islay single malts, so I don’t get through the Seaweed & Aeons too quickly & to slightly increase my choice.
This’ll be my first try of Ardbeg Wee Beastie, having always enjoyed their standard age statement 10/12 yrs age expressions in the past, but not for some years. It seems to garner very positive reviews.
