I really like this expression, not too heavy on the sherry infuence, compared to others (Bunnahabhain 18, Bunnahabhain PX Cask for example)
Iâll let you know what I think in about 4 or 5 yearsđ
Rabski chanter
We recently finished a bottle
Yeah, spotted yer post re buying some, not so long back. How did you find it?
I wonât be cracking it open immediately, as I have plenty of choice on tâ go at present.
Snagged meself a bottle of this âun. Could only resist so long, before curiosity/anticipatory relish got tâ better of me!!
Same here ,âŚcould,nt resist , its a treat to myself for my forth coming birthdayâŚ
Is nice
Iâm afraid that I always pronounce Glanfarclas in an east end accent.
Glen Faaaaaaak las.
Iâve gone right off gin and quite liked bourbon in the past so thought this might be worth a try ?
Shall attempt that laterâŚ
Having taken nearly a year to get through the previous Balvenie, the bottle supplied at Christmas didnât last through Jan.
Spotted this for ÂŁ25 at Waitrose this week
Lighter than the Balvenie but pleasant
Ffs thatâs not the 10 year old Talisker. They had that for ÂŁ33 in the shop and I thought it was cheaper online. I need to take more notice of these things. Laphroaig 10 not quite as cheap as a month ago.
Decent, if you fancy a left field suggestion I would recommend trying a rye whisky as an alternative too:
This is lovely! A favourite!
If you canât choose one OR another, then choose one AND another, in other words, both .
