You can clearly see from your own purchase that postage and import charges are separate and the total is the sum of all so import charges are not included in the postage charge.
Also my CP at eBay is for the slowness I am having with global shipping and not for how well your purchase is going.
Good advice. Private parking fines are next to unenforceable - Iāve yet to hear of a single case actually being pursued in court, and if it came to that, they wouldnāt have a leg to stand on in Andyās case.
Had a similar experience where I inadvertently overstayed the hours of use (not duration of parking) in Selby 3 years ago, the company sent a fabulously threatening letter on a weekly basis for over a year, but actually did nothing.
Driving back from the office and this cunt was busy gawping at the Aston in front of me and didnāt even look right, pulled out and only stopped when I beeped at him.
The sort that votes for Brexit and votes in successive Tory governments that cut benefits for the disabled whilst giving tax cuts to corporations and higher rate tax payers.
I agree, but some of the errors can have serious consequences. I, and most of us on here, can easily deal with irritating issues where a company charges us or pays us incorrectly. My employer, for example, chooses to defer the payment of my insurance by a whole month - so money that they got paid a fortnight ago by the insurance company comes to me in three weeks.
Personally I think that is massive cuntishness, but Iām financially comfortable and can afford it.
For people who canāt afford it, and also have mental health issues, that sort of thing can cost lives. They need to have systems that pick up on this very quickly, resolve it and prevent it happening to others.
Fundamentally, the standard of service to vulnerable people needs to be much higher than it does to us. It often isnāt, as we donāt seem to care enough.
One of the axes along which any service lies has Good at one end and Cheap at the other. Recent UK governments have been obsessively and utterly fixated on trying to make what they do as Cheap as possible*. Why is anyone surprised when theyāre not Good enough ?
VB
*One of the more tragic aspects of this is that they sometimes manage to move away from Good without achieving Cheap. Thatās only possible if a third party becomes involved as an additional channel through which money can be bled out of the system. Capita, Atos, the PFI providers etc can āhelpā (themselves) with this.
Huge collective punch to the genitalia of the RSPCA. Not content with hosing £millions on overpaid topheavy administration, their latest TV campaign includes a collared dove being taken to the vets.
The adās timing coincides with the start of the breeding season for most town-and-garden birds, and while the ad will still be fresh in peopleās minds, fledglings will be leaving the nest to be tended by their parents until they can fend for themselves.
Every year thousands of such fledglings are mistaken for orphans and removed from the garden or park - whereupon the parents will give up on them, and they lose their chance to learn to be wild birds; many wonāt survive misguided attempts to raise them.
The adās ambiguity means more people than ever will make this mistake, even though, the intention was probably to highlight the organisationās work with injured animals.
Stupid and infuriating!
